Arrival by Air to Europe

Most people arrive at Rome Fiumincino Airport FCO. From there you can take a train to Assisi or we can arrange a taxi to pick you up directly, for approximately €200.00 Euros, from Rome. |

Ryan Air is now flying into Perugia PEG from London Stansted STN for as little as €40.00. Perugia airport is only a 15 minute taxi ride from Assisi. |

There are many inexpensive flights inside Europe. Some of the companies are: Ryan Air, Air Berlin, Haapag LLoyd Express, German Wings. Most of these carriers fly into Rome Ciampino from different parts of Europe. From there you take a shuttle bus to Rome Termini Train Station and catch a train to Assisi. |

Arrival by Train From the Assisi train station you will take a txi up the hill to your hotel, Hotel La Posta Panoramica, at cost of approximately €15.00 Euros. There is also a public bus that runs every half hour at a cost of about €1.00 Euros for the which the tickets are available at the train station newspaper stand. You will take the bus to Piazza Matteotti, at the very top of Assisi. From here your Hotel is about a 3-5 minute walk through the city. |

The Retreat begins at 3PM at the Old Garden Monastery where you are lodged and ends around noon on the last day of the retreat. |
